Romanesque Architecture in Andorra

Andorra’s Romanesque churches are renowned for their beauty and authenticity. These little architectural gems, such as Sant Joan de Caselles and Santa Coloma, blend history and spirituality within a unique natural setting.

Located in the upper reaches of the Ordino Valley and facing north, this resort enjoys excellent snow conditions every winter, offering one of the longest ski seasons in the Pyrenees, with the best guarantee of an early opening.

This parish, situated at an altitude of 1,300 metres in eastern Andorra, covers an area of 90 km², a third of which is covered in woodland. Nestled amongst the Pyrenean mountains are its picturesque villages: Ansalonga, Arans, Ordino and others.

Museum of Miniatures

The Museum of Miniatures, located in Ordino, is a fascinating place for lovers of art and intricate detail. It houses a unique collection created by Nicolai Siadristy, a renowned Ukrainian artist considered one of the finest in his field. The museum is situated in the Maragda Building on Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer Street and is notable for the diversity and precision of its works, which captivate all visitors.

Roc del Quer Viewpoint

The Roc del Quer viewpoint in Canillo offers an unforgettable experience with unique panoramic views and the sensation of being suspended amongst the mountains. Having recently opened, it has become an icon of Andorra, the perfect spot from which to admire the majesty of the Pyrenees.

The House of Arenys-Plandolit

The Casa d’Areny-Plandolit, located in the heart of Ordino, is the only preserved manor house in Andorra. It belongs to the illustrious family of Guillem d’Areny-Plandolit, renowned for its historical legacy and its role in the iron industry. It offers one-hour guided tours, for which advance booking is required. Last admission: 45 minutes before closing time.
